The Series Is Set

The Cardinals and the Tigers are heading to the World Series.  Since the Tigers spend Spring Training here in Lakeland, you know who I’ll be pulling for.  Normally I’m a Braves man, but I’ll make an exception this year. 

It reminds me of that old children’s song, "I went to the animal fair, the birds and the beasts were there . . ."

Patterson’s Pet Peeve

I’m a Southern Baptist.  I have been since I was a small child.  Yet, in recent months I have been seriously considering leaving  the SBC over mindless crap like this.  All this bickering among ourselves and petty, childish behavior like Paige Patterson’s just makes all Southern Baptists look like a**holes!!!
