Booking Information

Thank you for your inquiry into Chris Elrod’s availability to speak at your gathering. It is an honor that you are entrusting Chris with this request and we do not take it for granted.

Please be aware of the following issues when placing an invitation to Chris Elrod:

  • Due to his pastoral and teaching responsibilities at Compass Point Church, Chris is rarely able to accept speaking invitations that will require him to travel or speak on a Saturday night through Sunday morning.
  • In light of his limited speaking availability (12-15 engagements annually), the Elders of Compass Point Church has encouraged Chris to accept invitations for events that will have the furthest reaching impact. Therefore, only in rare cases are single-church events accepted.

If you wish to submit an invitation, please put your invitation in writing, answer the following questions and email it to office@compasspointlakeland.com. All inquiries are reviewed first by the Elders of Compass Point Church for prayerful consideration. An incomplete questionnaire will result in a decline of the invitation.

General Event Information

  1. Who will sponsor the event?
  2. What is the vision and purpose?
  3. What is the doctrinal stance that under girds your event?
  4. What are the precise dates, including the year? (Without precise dates the Compass Point Elders will not consider your request.)
  5. How many times would you like Chris to speak?
  6. How long should he plan to speak for each message?
  7. What will be the event schedule (precise times of day Chris will speak)?
  8. Will you provide Chris Elrod with a master-quality audio and video recording (if applicable) of his talks to use at Compass Point Church’s discretion?
  9. Who will the listeners be?
  10. How many listeners do you expect to attend?
  11. How many different churches will be represented?
  12. What is your proposed speaking honorarium for Chris for this event?

Location / Travel Information

  1. Where is the location of the event?
  2. What airport would Chris fly into?
  3. What is the travel time from the airport to the event location?
  4. When do you expect Chris to arrive at your location?
  5. When will Chris be available to return to Lakeland?
  6. Will you be covering all of Chris Elrod’s travel expenses?
  7. Would you consider covering the travel expenses for either Chris’ wife (Denise) or a male assistant to accompany him to your event?
  8. Will you be providing Chris (and any accompanying him) transportation from and to the airport? If possible, please provide contact information to be posted on our web site for the general public interested in hearing Chris Elrod speak:
