Last Sunday Impact! Church was blessed to have my good friend and blues music minister Richard “Stonefingers” Johnson play for us during the worship service. It was a GREAT day of music and ministry followed by a neighborhood grill out. What most people don’t know is that while the hot dogs, chips and soft drinks were being passed around to our Parker Street neighbors, Stonefingers quietly slipped off to perform a private concert. Big Al was in the hospital with stomach issues (he’s fine now) and was unable to attend the Sunday service. He loves music – particularly blues and country. Al was pretty disappointed in having to miss the concert, so Stonefingers took the concert to him! This is a picture of Stonefingers playing beside Al’s hospital bed. It is a picture of a humble musician and minister of God that will go to great lengths to be a blessing to people. Thank you Stonefingers Johnson for loving God, loving people and making an impact!
